How VYS-OS works
Upload approved screenshots, follow other members, like good work, and build points toward higher trust levels. The site is built around gallery sharing first, with moderation and profile perks layered in as your contribution grows.
Site rules, upload limits, perks, and library counts are admin-configured and update here automatically.

Points System
Points recalculate from your activity, so deleted content or removed interactions can change totals.

Automatic publishing begins at 75 points, unless an admin enables it sooner.
Perk Library
Perks are assigned to trust levels by admins. This list updates automatically when new perks are added.
Uploads and Community Tools
Uploading
Choose a category, add a title and context, then upload JPG, PNG, or WEBP images. New uploads can be saved as web-optimized display and thumbnail files where enabled, and batch uploads support per-file overrides.
Community Tools
Use follows to track creators, like images you enjoy, and comment to add context. Notifications keep you posted when people follow you, like your uploads, or comment on your images.
Notification categories can be customised from User Settings.
Categories, Star Citizen, and Collections
Categories and Requests
Gallery categories are admin-managed so filters stay tidy. If a game or category is missing, use the category request box on the upload page and it will appear in the admin Needs Action hub.
Star Citizen Metadata
Star Citizen uploads can use image types such as ship, scenery, character, interior, combat, or other. Ship-focused uploads can also use the shared manufacturer and ship library.
Collections
Collections let members group images together, set a cover image, choose visibility, and collaborate with other members where enabled. Profile pages show uploads first, with collections available in the profile tabs.
Achievements and Account Settings
Achievements
Achievements are configured by admins and update from live activity. Profiles show the newest earned badges, with a full achievements page showing unlocked, locked, and next-closest progress.
User Settings
User Settings controls notification preferences, preferred date/time display, and remembered login devices. Remembered logins can be named so they are easy to identify and revoke later.
